ANALOG I/O block
REF. VIDEO (reference video input) connectors
(BNC type) and 75-ohm termination switch
Connect a composite video signal, such as black burst.
The two connectors are in the loop-through condition.
When the loop-through output is not used, set the 75-
ohm termination switch to ON.
COMPOSITE (composite video input) connectors
(BNC type) and 75-ohm termination switch
Connect to the composite output of a VTR, etc.
Depending on the input mode setting from an external
computer, one of these connectors accepts a composite
video signal of either the NTSC or PAL system.
The two connectors are in the loop-through condition
where the signal supplied to one connector is output
as-is from the other regardless of whether the power is
on or off. When the loop-through output is not used,
set the 75-ohm termination switch to ON.
For video input, use a device that can provide stable
syncronization, such as a professional-use VTR.

REF. VIDEO connectors and 75-ohm termination switch
COMPOSITE connectors and 75-ohm termination switch
COMPONENT (component video input)
connectors (BNC type)
Connect to the component outputs of a VTR, etc.
Depending on the input mode setting from an external
computer, the connectors accept component video
signals of either the 525 or 625 system.
AUDIO INPUT connectors (XLR 3-pin, female)
Analog audio signals of up to four channels (CH1/
CH2/CH3/CH4) can be connected.
MONITOR OUTPUT (audio monitor output)
connectors (XLR 3-pin, male)
Output the analog audio signal (one channel each
either of stereo or monaural) for monitoring.
The output channel can be selected from an external
computer.
TIME CODE INPUT connector (XLR 3-pin,
female)
Accepts the time code signal.
