Using the car handsfree
See “Safe and efficient use” on page 8 and “Limited
Warranty” on page 10 before using your car handsfree.
Power supply and battery charging
When you place the phone in the car holder, and
turn the ignition key to on, the car handsfree is
automatically turned on. The car battery powers the
phone via the car handsfree while also charging the
phone’s battery. Please see the User’s guide for your
car holder.
In car profile
When the phone is resting in the car holder, the

profile is activated. See the Profiles section in
the User’s Guide for your phone for information on

profile and the settings you can create.
Indicator light
When the phone is resting in the car holder, the
indicator light on the top of the phone shows a
steady green light when service is available from
a network.
Making calls
When the phone is resting in the car holder, you can
make calls by using the keypad or your voice in the
same way as when you use the phone as a hand-held
phone. Please see the User’s Guide for your phone.
Answering and rejecting calls
If the phone is resting in the car holder and you
receive a call, you can answer or reject the call by
using the keypad or your voice. Please see the User’s
Guide for your phone.
Use the

answering or automatic
answering function in your phone. Scroll to
Settings/
Handsfree/Answering
mode
.
Any key
answering
means that you can press any key except the
NO
key
to answer a call. Automatic answering means that a
call is answered automatically after two ring signals.
When a call is in progress
You can adjust the volume of the car handsfree
speaker by sliding the phone’s volume key up or
down during a call.
You can remove the phone from the car holder
during a call to use it as a hand-held phone, and
then replace it again without disconnecting the call.
