1 GENERAL INFORMATION
Dear Customer,
We would like to thank and congratulate you for having chosen a Sonus faber powered subwoofer for use in
audio and audio-visual systems. This subwoofer has been designed to immediately offer the maximum level
of satisfaction, but since we want you to obtain the best possible listening result in full safety, please read this
instruction manual carefully before installation. Should you have any doubts or enquiries, please contact your
sales point's technical staff or the official Sonus faber distributor in your country, or contact Sonus faber directly.

Read the instruction manual carefully.

Follow all instructions.

Do not use the unit in proximity of water.
6.
Clean the appliance with a dry, smooth and soft cloth.
7.
Do not install the subwoofer in a way to obstruct the correct ventilation of the rear heat dissipater. Install
the unit in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8.
Do not use the unit in proximity of heat sources, such as radiators, heaters, stoves or other appliances
(including the amplifiers), which produce heat.
9.
Protect the power supply cable, do not stand on it and do not pinch it, especially in correspondence with
the plug, wall outlets and in the point it escapes from the appliance.
10.
Only use the accessories supplied and specified in this manual.
11.
In order to prevent any injuries, when using a trolley to move the subwoofer, proceed with cautions to
prevent the same from overturning.
12. Disconnect the subwoofer during electric storms or when it is not used for long periods of time.
13.
For technical assistance, contact qualified staff. Technical assistance is necessary if the subwoofer is
damaged, e.g. for problems with the power supply cable or of the plug, spilled liquids or objects falling
inside the appliance, exposure of the appliance to rain or humidity, abnormal operation or damage
following a fall.
14.
Do not expose the subwoofer to sprays and drops and do not place vases or any other containers of liquids
on the same.
15.
To disconnect the subwoofer from the AC network completely, disconnect the power supply plug from the
power outlet side.
16.
The power supply plug must always be easily reached.
17.
Warnings for persons wearing pacemakers: remain at a safe distance of at least 30 cm from the subwoofer.
1.2 WARRANTY
The Sonus faber subwoofers are designed and manufactured to meet the highest quality standards. Should,
however, a fault or a malfunction occur, the subwoofers are covered by warranty, in compliance with the
legislation in force in the country where the subwoofers were purchased. In these cases, please contact the
dealer from whom you purchased your subwoofers and take the actions indicated by the legislator. Furthermore,
to obtain repairs under warranty, we recommend:
•
keeping the receipt as proof of purchase of the subwoofer, to show to the retailer if necessary;
•
send the subwoofer to be repaired in its original packaging to prevent any further damage and include a
description of the malfunctioning or defect detected;
•
keep in mind that the subwoofer warranty covers every manufacturing defect as long has the same has
not be dismantled, modified, tampered with or used in ways or for uses not envisioned by this manual.
