Put the button cells into the tone arm scale (pls. see separate manual) and take
care for the correct polarity. Put the tone arm scale without cover on the platter and
carefully remove the dust cap from the stylus. Now lower the tone arm with the lift
in a way that the stylus is amidst the white area of the tone arm scale. By turning the
tone arm weight the weight is adjusted. If you use the originally mounted Audio
Technica AT 95E it should be set between 1.5 and 2.5 grams while the standard
weight is at 2 grams. After adjusting the weight you can set the scales on the tone
arm weight to the value you set with the electronic scale.
Please note: Each cartridge has an ideal force on the record. Setting this value higher
or lower leads to stronger wear of the record.
4.10
In case you accidently shifted the cartridge or if you want to mount another
cartridge you can align position and anti-skating with the white adjustment record
delivered with this device. This operation need some certain skills – the procedure
please learn from professional articles. For the usage of your record player this
knows how is not needed.

Playback of records
5.1
Put a record on the platter.
5.2
Fix the platter with the platter clamp. (This is not mandatory but recommended as it
will improve the sound quality especially of uneven records)
5.3
Switch on the motor with the switch left underneath the device. Push the Power
button and choose the right turning speed. (LPs normally will be played back at 33
⅓
rounds per minute, singles at 45 rounds per minute.)
5.4
After pushing the silver button the display helps you to check if the speed is correct.
In case it is not correct you can adjust it with the round controllers below the device.
5.5
Move the tone arm to the outer blank grove of the record and lower the tone arm
with the lever of the tone arm lift.
5.6
At the end of the record (after the tone arm reached the inner blank grove of the
record) lift the tone arm with the tone arm lift and move the tone arm back to its
mount.
