3.6 CONNECTING A RECORD PLAYER
Record players with MM cartridge can be connected directly to MAESTRO.
Please connect as shown below.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
The GND terminal of PHONO is not a safety ground connection.
Connect the ground cable of your record player here to reduce
hum and noise.
If input source is set to “PHONO” without having a record player
connected, you may hear a hum noise from the speakers.
Depending on the turntable, connecting the ground terminal may
have the reverse effect of increasing noise. In this case, it is not
necessary to connect the ground terminal.
