6 Maintenance and cleaning
Warning! For general maintenance and care, observe the general safety conditions. To
ensure trouble-free operation of the heater, the unit must be cleaned regularly. Include
the following procedure:
1. Turn off the heating.
2. Then pull the power cord out of the socket.
3. Clean the outside with a damp cloth. To clean the plastic parts do not use gasoline,
solvents or abrasive agents that can damage the plastic surface.
4.Insert the power cord into the socket.
5. Turn on the device.
5.2 Sequence switch
To use the heater, proceed as follows:
The heater has a 3-step switch. Switch on the device using the sequence switch and set
the button to the desired value.
To switch off the heater set the sequence switch to position 0.
5.3 Thermostat
The thermostat works on all levels. You can set the desired temperature by using the
thermostat. Turn the thermostat to your desired level.
Maximum level: Position (HIGH)
Minimum level: Position (LOW)
The thermostat will cause the heater to turn on when the ambient temperature is below
the preset value. If the temperature rises above this value, the thermostat switches off
the device.
- Tighten the wing nuts firmly.
- Turn the heater back the right way round.
