Java

Sonim XP3.20 has a collection of Java applications that 

are saved in the phone as default. You can also download 

more Java application via WAP or Bluetooth.

Installing Pre-bundled Java Applications

This phone comes with Java applications that you can 

install and use. To install the Java applications, please 

refer 

“Java Help”

. 

XP3.20 has four Java applications pre-bundled.

Select 

Menu > Applications > Java Help

.

You will obtain information on how to install Java pre-

bundled applications, how to set the APN and how to turn 

on GPS.

Java applications can also be installed from 

the SD card.

Installing Java Application from SD Card

Select 

Menu > My files > Memory card

 tab. Select the 

file (.jar or .jad). The installation process begins. Once the 

application is installed successfully, it will be displayed in 

the Java box.

Installing Java Application from WAP

Launch WAP. Browse to the location where the file (.jar 

or .jad) is present. Select the file. The installation process 

begins. Once the application is installed successfully, it 

will be displayed in the Java box.
