5.3 Temperature measurement
– behind ear
If there is a big difference between body temperature and ambient
temperature or if there is sweat on the forehead, then the tempera-
ture behind the ear can be measured.
Set the measurement mode to
Body
.
Make sure that the measuring area is not covered (headgear,
hair) and that there is no sweat or cosmetics on it.
Point the meter toward the area behind the ear. The distance
should be
between 5 and 15 cm
.
Press and release the trigger. The result will be displayed.
The instrument turns off automatically 7 seconds after the trig-
ger is released.
5.4 Temperature measurement
– objects
This function allows you to measure the ambient temperature and
various objects.
Set the measurement mode to
Surface
.
Make sure the measuring area is not obstructed.
Point the meter towards the object. The distance should be
be-
tween 5 and 15 cm
.
Press and release the trigger. The result will be displayed.
The instrument turns off automatically 7 seconds after the trig-
ger is released.
