5.4 Graphical displays
The Radian software has two graphical display screens that you can use. These
are available only when you have set Radian to its Display Mode, as described on
page 23.
Attitude display
Fig 18 Attitude display in Heading-up mode
The Compass or Attitude display shows measurements from Radian both graphi-
cally and as text fields.
The central part of the display shows a graphical representation of Radian’s roll
and pitch angles, presented as a ‘bubble’ display. The central cross-hairs intersect
at zero roll and pitch, with ‘range rings’ representing angles of roll and pitch ex-
tending outwards from the centre.
A scale around the outside of the central part of the Attitude display shows the
current heading reported by Radian against a radial scale of compass points.
Additional text fields around the edges of the display show actual measurements
of heading, roll and pitch.
The small yellow triangle in the top left-hand corner of the display allows you to
toggle the display between north-up and heading-up modes.
