This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental

are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they
have understood the hazards associated with use.
Children should not be allowed to play with the
unit.
Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.

INSTALLATION
1.
Carefully remove the packaging material, avoid damaging scratching the product with scissors
or knife. Do not install damaged, broken device.
2.
Attach the two ends of the accessory chain to the tabs on the top of the device.
3.
Use the chain to hang it up so high that small children cannot reach. (min. 2
m)
4. After connecting to the mains, turn on the unit with the tilt switch.
5.
The UV-A fluorescent lights start lighting with purple light and the high-voltage grid gets
energized.

The electric insect killer with its UV-A light attracts insects to itself, which are attracted to light
e.g.: flies, mosquitos, moths. The high-voltage grid destroys them by electric shock.
The special UV-A fluorescent light completely harmless to human and to pets.
The outer grid protects against accidental touching of the high-voltage grid.
The electric insect killer is ideal for households, cottages, weekend houses' rooms, covered
terraces.
REPLACTING THE FLUORESCENT LAMP
1.
Before replacing the fluorescent lamp, switch off and unplug the appliance by
unplugging the connection plug.
2.
Opposite the inner, high-voltage grid' side, screw out the outer protective grid's fixing
top 3 screws.
3.
Tilt the protective grid out to access the fluorescent lamps.
4.
Remove the fluorescent lamp from its position.
5.
Slide the ends of the new fluorescent lamp into the sockets and turn it until it stops.
6.
Screw back the protective grid to its place. Make sure that the plates fixing the grid are
precisely fit to the grid.
7.
Reinstall the device.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, power off the device!
Use the appropriate brush to clean the high-voltage
grid and empty the insect corpses from the removable insect trays. Clean the device weekly!
Do not wash the appliance, do not expose it to wet conditions!
