● A small signal (volume) input to the sound box may cause excess noise, and a too large signal may cause distortion. It is recommended to keep
the volume of the signal source at a medium level.
● A connection cable and, in some cases, an external converter may be required for proper connection.
● For more information, see the user manual of the device you intend to connect.
KARAOKE MICROPHONE FUNCTION
Two microphones can be connected at the same time into the two
MIC
jacks on the back of the device. With these, singing or talking is possible simultaneously
with another audible signal source. The volume and echo of microphones can be set as desired. Recommended types: SAL M 41, M 61, M 71, M 8.
ECHO VOL:
microphone echo;
MIC VOL:
microphone volume
LED LIGHT EFFECTS
When the sound box is switched on a LED light effect is activated. This can either be deactivated, or various effects can be selected using the
button
on the control panel. The functioning of some light effects depends on the given playback volume – as they are controlled by the built-in microphone of the
sound box. By pressing the
button, select the desired light effect, or turn off lights completely. Operation time is longer with the light effects turned OFF.
DJ SOUND EFFECTS
Sound effects can be activated using the MENU button by the ECHO VOL knob. By pressing the button, four different backlight colours appear.
Various sound effects are associated with the same buttons in case of each settings, resulting all together in 4x16=64 available sound effects. Some
examples are: horn, chords, synth, percussion instruments, audience reactions… The volume of effects adjusts with the master volume. Accordingly,
when music volume is lower, the sound effect will also be lower. The device is designed for handling controls from behind the sound box.
● The volume of external sound sources may be different, therefore sound effects will adjust to those differently. Set the volume on the mobile
phone, etc. as desired.
