f. To place the mask on, position the assembled mask at the nose while pulling the headgear
over the head (
Fig. 9a
). The silicone straps should be positioned on the crown of the head
and the backstrap should be positioned around the back of the head (
Fig. 9b
). Tighten the
silicone straps and/or the backstrap, as needed, to fit securely but comfortably. To help you
get comfortable with the feel and fit of the mask, it is recommended that you wear the mask
(without the hose) several times while awake before using it when you go to sleep.
