Maintenance
To maintain a safe and long-lasting riding experience, it is recommended that
the tyres and lubrication of components are routinely checked and adjusted.
Tyres
Both tyres should be inflated to
45psi
;
in the event of a flat tyre or puncture, the
tyres and inner tubes can changed:
Front Wheel Removal
Remove the front wheel by undoing the
axle bolts, which will allow the wheel to
slide out.
Rear Wheel Removal
Use a tool to carefully open the rear plastic
cover housing the rear motor.
Gently disconnect the cables connecting
the motor, and undo the screws; taking
care to remember where each screw was
removed from. Carefully pull the motor out
to access the rear wheel and remove this
from the scooter.
Removing Tyres
With the tyres deflated, lubricate the sides
of the tyre with soapy water, then using a
metal tyre crowbar, carefully pop and slide
the tyre off the hub.
Once the tyre is removed, the inner tubes
can be access and changed.
To reassemble all parts, repeat the above
steps in reverse.
