1. General information
Solflex produces SonaSafe acoustic housing for a wide range of Heat Pump, Air
Conditioning and Refrigeration systems.
This manual applies to the following series:
SonaSafe HC* Serie
2. Technical Data
Stable, acoustic enclosure with fully demountable structure. Housing constructed in
corrosion resistant Aluzinc steel plate, optional available in powder coated RAL colour.
Integrated special lamella packs on the rear for large-area and laminar air intake, as well
as on the front for air discharge with integrated sound insulation. Sound insulation made of
high-quality material combination for airborne sound absorption from non-combustible
pyramid insulation material with thickness 50 mm and special Rockwool insulation of the
acoustic grille 25 mm thick, density 110 kg / m³ with hygienic coating according VDI6022.
All screw connections with stainless M8 thread inserts. Feet construction vibration-
decoupled by means of 4 rubber dampers Silentblock Ø30 H20. Functional and yet design-
oriented design with deflection of the air stream downwards with very low pressure loss
and two acoustic weather protection grilles, easy to remove by one person, on the suction
and discharge sides. Roof with inclination to the sides to keep the outdoor unit harmless
from water and snow and protect against mechanical damage. An integrated thermal is
provided for the exact separation of the suction and the discharge air. The complete
construction is completely weatherproof and optimized for the operation of heat pumps by
the optional installation of a drain pan, integrable in the feet construction, which can also
be optionally made with an electrical heater to prevent the freezing of condensing water.
Nominal pressure loss lower as 15 Pa(1). Nominal sound level reduction: up to -10
dB(A), depending on outdoor unit type.
