INSTALLATION

14.   The 5” diameter flex duct will now be installed. The 

duct length can be calculated using either of the 

following equations:

Duct Length Equation: 
English (inches): Duct Length = G – 30.0" 
Metric (millimeters): Duct Length = G – 762mm 
* Refer to step 3 for Dimension “G” referenced 

in the above equations.

15.  Once the duct length has been calculated, stretch the 

ducts to the length calculated in step #5 and secure to 

the collector using the 5” hose clamps provided.
