3: Roof Stands
As the roof stands are first to be assembled on the roof, please follow these steps:
Use the screws (I) to mount the aluminium profile

in a bar or rafter.
REMEMBER
to put the roof pressure
pads (H)/ braces (J) between the roof and the aluminium profile.
Mount the aluminium profile

on the fixed aluminium profile

on the roof. Select

to fit the roof
slope so the SolarVenti air collector has an angle of approx. 55°. Now assemble the roof stands completely.

Connection of the SolarVenti air collector
Fix the SolarVenti air collector to the two stands and tighten them with the Allen screws at the top.
Pull the cord through the flexible hose (D) and down through the cord hole in the roof flashing (A). Make an
excess of 5-10 cm of the cord between the solar air collector and the roof flashing. This is to be used later.
Smear the SabetoFIX glue (G) around the cord at the penetration of the roof flashing to make the
installation watertight.
Connect the short 50 cm aluflex pipe (E) ø125 mm (located in the box for the wall mounting kit) to the
connecting pipe of the roof flashing.
Note:
Don’t use the aluflex pipe (E) from the roof mounting box,
because this pipe has to be used for the indoor pipework.
Fix one of the Armaflex strips (B) around the aluflex pipe (E) at the end close to the roof. Pull the flexible
hose (D) over the aluflex pipe (E) and the Armaflex strip (B). Fix one of the plastic strips (F) around the
flexible hose (D) approx. in the middle of the Armaflex strip (B) close to the roof and tighten.
Now repeat the last section regarding the mounting of the aluflex pipe on the collector. Make a drip of the
5-10 cm excessive cord between the collector and the flexible hose, so the water can drain from the cord.

Indoor
Open the wall mounting box and find the instruction booklet for the wall mounting. Find the section about
the indoor mounting and follow the instructions regarding the aluflex pipe (E), 175 cm, the valve etc.

Roofing felt
Use two pressure pads (H) per stand and put
them between roof and alu profile on a crest.
On Decra roofs you might have to put some
glue (G) below the pressure pads in order to
fill up the rill/unevenness.
Use two braces (J) per stand and put
them - with the flat side down -
between roof and alu profile. Fix the
braces to the roof with the SabetoFIX
glue (G).
