Warning
Cause
Measures
Burst error
The Compact Station discon-
nected from the mains five
times or more on the same
day. The warning is displayed
for the remainder of the day.
The error counter will be reset
when the system is restarted
in the morning.
Check the status logger in
MaxWeb xp (if present) or
check the grid parameters. If
this problem occurs frequently,
contact the SolarMax Service
Center.
Flash error
A flash error has occurred.
Contact the SolarMax Service
Center.
Ief too high
The ground fault current in
the potential equalization set
(PAS) is too high (can only be
displayed if the PAS is used).
There is an insulation fault in
the PV generator.
Correct the insulation fault in
the PV generator.
Insulation fault DC
There is a short-circuit in the
PV generator to ground.
Correct the short-circuit.
The PV generator wiring is
defective.
Repair the wiring.
Moisture is causing excessive
leakage current in the PV
generator.
Seal the generator connection
box better and improve the
insulation materials.
Note: Check the setting of the functions of the Vsym monitor or
Vsym AC monitor.
Power unit blocked
At least one power unit is
blocked temporarily.
Switch off the main switch and
then switch it back on again
in order to clear the block (or
wait for the next restart of the
Compact Station).
RTC error
The RTC (real-time clock) in
the MCU is malfunctioning, the
date and time were re-set.
Set the date and time (see
section 6.3.1).
If this problem happens fre-
quently, contact the SolarMax
Service Center.
Fuse failure PAS
Fuse failure in the potential
equalization set (PAS) (can
only be displayed when using
the PAS).
Contact the SolarMax Service
Center. Note: check the
setting of the fuse failure PAS
function.
Temperature limitation
The feed-in power has been
temporarily reduced to limit the
temperature of the system.
Clean the ventilation grilles
(see Section 10.1.2).
Warning MaxConnect
The alarm contact X501 of the
MCU was closed.
Check the generator con-
nection box (MaxConnect)
connected to the alarm contact
X501.
