11 Prepare the MEP-802A TQG for Operation
NOTICE
The steps outlined in this section are a supplement and not intended to replace the preventive maintenance
checks and services (PMCS) procedures outlined in the operator’s manual for the 5kW TQG, TM 9-6115-641-10.
The AES must be used with an AGS-modified TQG.
Verify that the MEP-802A TQG AGS Modification Kit
has been installed on the generator.
Note:
The MEP-802A TQG has only enough fuel
capacity for about 9 hours of runtime (at full load) until
empty. If the AES is operated at maximum output,
generator operation may consume all of the fuel in the
TQG main fuel tank over a 24-hour period. Ensure fuel or
an AUX tank is available.
