7. Cleaning and care
Cover
The fabric cover of the pad can be cleaned in the washing machi-
ne. Please observe the notes on the labels and the laundry care
symbols of the cover.
Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and remove the
heating pad prior to washing the cover.
• Close the hook-and-loop fasteners for washing.
• Machine or hand-wash at 30°C
• Wash separately or with similar colors.
• Do not bleach
• Iron at maximum sole-plate temperature of 110 °C without
steam
• Steam ironing may cause irreversible damage
• No chemical dry-cleaning
• Tumble drying possible
• Low temperature; exhaust temperature max. 60 °C
Heating pad
• Never wash the interior part of the device.
• The electric heating pad may never be cleaned in a washer
nor with chemical agents or at the dry-cleaners.
• The heating pad cannot be dried in a dryer.
• Never use the heating pad while it is damp.
• The thermostat cannot come into contact with water under
any circumstance. Never hold the heating pad under running
water and do not submerge it into any liquids! The moisture
could damage the thermostat.
• The cleaning of the heating pad should be done with dry-
cleaning methods, such as brushing or vacuum cleaning.
