The technical specifications of the power supply are printed on the power adapter.
On the chair scales the arm and foot rests may be loaded during use with a weight of up to
50 kg in each direction. On the platform scales the plates can be attached as an accessory.
These plates can be loaded with a maximum of 80 kg in each direction during use.
The technical documents for maintaining the device, which are required for personnel known
as service staff by Soehnle Professional, can be obtained from the manufacturer.
4.2 Intended use
This device is intended for measuring the weight of persons, and should be used only for
this purpose. Any other type of use is forbidden. These scales are intended for fiscal
metering applications.
They meet the relevant requirements of EC Directives 2004/108/EC,
2006/95/EC, 2009/23/EC and 2007/47/EC.
Any faults that could put patents at risk, or faults that cause measurement errors, should be
reported to the manufacturer's medical product adviser in writing. This user manual is
considered an integral part of the equipment. The instructions in the manual must be
followed exactly in order to ensure that the equipment is used properly and operated
correctly.
Soehnle Professional will accept liability for the safety of the equipment only if the user has
paid attention to the information in the user manual and operated the equipment according
to the instructions. This product is a medical device and should be used only by persons who
have received the appropriate training, and who therefore possess the knowledge required
to ensure that the device is handled correctly. Before using this device, the user should
check that it is in an acceptable condition and functionally safe. Users and operators must
familiarise themselves with the controls. This device is not intended for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres in rooms used for medical purposes. Potentially explosive
atmospheres can result in areas where there are inflammable anaesthetics, skin cleansers,
and skin disinfectants.
