While lightly spreading the edger guide + flower guard, fit
the curved ends into the small holes on both sides of the
motor housing, and release (Figs. 5 & 6).

The edger guide + flower guard can be flipped up so it
stores against the motor housing for convenient storage,
when not in use (Fig. 7).
Operation
Auxiliary Handle Adjustment
NOTE: For maximum comfort and control, adjust the auxiliary
handle to fit your height. Shorter users adjust the auxiliary
handle to a lower position (away from your body). Taller users
adjust the auxiliary handle to an upper position (towards to
your body). Make sure your forearm is straight when using
the machine.
1. Loosen the auxiliary handle by turning the handle knob
counterclockwise (Fig. 8).
