Instructions Before Use
Always follow these safety guidelines. Failure to do so may
result in serious bodily injury or death.
General Safety

WARNING!
When using the screwdriver basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, and personal injury. These include:
Work Area Safety
1. Keep work area clean and well-lit –
Cluttered, dark
areas invite accidents.
2. Keep children, bystanders, and pets away – All
spectators, including pets, should be kept a safe distance
away from the work area.
3. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres
–
Such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert – Watch what you are doing. Use common
sense. Do not operate the screwdriver when you are tired,
or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. Dress properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
They can get caught in moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
3. Avoid unintentional starting – Do not carry the
screwdriver with your finger on the trigger. Make sure the
switch is off before connecting the screwdriver to power
source.
4. Do not overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Proper footing and balance enable better control
of the cordless screwdriver in unexpected situations.
5. Use personal protective equipment – Always wear eye
protection. Protective equipment such as dusk mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for
appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
6. Remove adjusting keys, or wrenches before turning
screwdriver on – A wrench or a key that is left attached
to a rotating part of the tool may result in personal injury.
7. If devices are provided for the connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly used – Use of dust collection
can reduce dust-related hazards.
Tool Use and Care
1. Do not force the tool – It will perform better with less
likelihood of personal or mechanical injury if it is used at
the rate for which it was designed.
2. Do not use screwdriver if switch does not turn on or
off – The
screwdriver that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or
battery pack from the screwdriver before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the
screwdriver – Such preventive safety measures reduce
risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
4. Store idle screwdriver out of reach of children or other
untrained persons – Screwdrivers are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
5. Maintain cordless screwdriver – Check for misalignment
or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and
any other condition that may affect the screwdriver's
operation. If damaged, have the screwdriver serviced
before using.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained tools.
6. Use the screwdriver, accessories and screwdriver
bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking
into account the working conditions and the work to
be performed – Use of the screwdriver for operations
different from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
7. Hold screwdriver by insulated gripping surfaces when
perfoming an operation where the screwdriver may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord – Contact with a
"live wire" will make exposed metal parts of the tool "live"
and shock the operator.
