Blade will not turn; snow will not come out
Check power is on and machine is
correctly plugged in or connected to
power (AC/DC)
Check switch is in the down or FOOT
position
Check foot pedal is securely plugged
into pressure switch port
Check that ice is not jammed too
tightly against blade (raise ice foot an
inch above ice and lower ice foot until
just touching ice)
Check the ice cabinet is securely
closed, completely down around black
rubber bumpers for the magnetic sen-
sor to be engaged
Check the wall circuit breaker has not
tripped (AC) or battery is depleted
(DC)
Check speed control dial is not off or
the fuse burned out
May have sheared motor gear keyway
needing replacement
Ice Block spins inside the Ice cabinet
The ice block is too small; replace with
ice block 6”x6”x12”
Ice block needs repositioning; raise
Ice Foot, adjust, and lower again
Ice Block cracks or shatters
Ice is conditioning too long (ice is out
of freeze too long and melting)
Use only taps on the Foot Pedal
Snow quality needs improvement
Best snow quality is from solid-clear
ice (water frozen over a couple days
versus compressed ice cube blocks)
A slower actuator depressing speed
creates finer snow versus faster ac-
tuator speed for faster production
Too much pressure from actuators,
dial Speed Control slower
Ice needs to be colder

Too much or too little snow is shaved in a
single tap of the Foot Pedal
Tap the foot pedal quicker or hold a
little longer
Make an adjustment to the actuator
speed control inside machine (edge of
motor cabinet
Make an adjustment to the motor
off delay duration control dial inside
machine on the motor housing
Ice Foot is not aligned or level -- it is lower
on one side
Raise the Ice Foot all the way to the
top (using the front switch) until it
stops; this will realign the actuators,
then lower again until just touching ice
block
Snow has clogged the exit chute between
the Snow Catch flap and Ice Paddles
Using the provided ice chipper handle,
push the snow inwards towards the
blade paddles then tap on foot pedal
to shoot out excess snow
Tap the foot pedal quicker to prevent
the snow from accumulating in the exit
chute
Hold cup at the edge of the Snow
Shaper and use the Ice Flap
