Instructions for Use
Thank you for purchasing a Snow Peak product. This product is a kitchen knife for cooking.For safety, read the following instruction manual before use. Please keep this
manual in a safe place after reading. If you find anything that you do not understand in the description or if there are any problems with the product, please stop use
immediately and contact the dealer from whom you purchased it or Snow Peak Customer Service.

CAUTION / Misuse could result in injury to the user and/or damage to property.
•Use with caution when people are around and never point the tip of the blade at people. •When using the knife, be sure to secure the blade with the open/close lock.
There is a possibility that the blade may fold unexpectedly, which is dangerous. •Do not apply a strong force to the blade, such as aggressive chopping when process-
ing fish. There is a possibility that the blade may fold in unexpectedly, which is dangerous.
Maintenance
•After use, wash with dishwashing detergent, wipe dry, and dry thoroughly before storing. Due to its structure, moisture tends to accumulate inside, so be sure to dry the
inside thoroughly. •Please do not use kitchen bleach, it will cause rust. •Please use a soft sponge when washing. Do not use hard scrubbing brushes or polishing powder
as they may scratch the surface. •If the hinge becomes difficult to move, please apply cooking oil to the hinge. •If the sharpness of the blade deteriorates, sharpen it with
a whetstone. If you are not good at sharpening, please ask a knife store to resharpen it.
1. Grip the handle and blade as shown
in the figure.
4. Turn the open / close lock screw
clockwise to secure the screw.
2. Turn the open/close lock screw counterclockwise to
remove the screw. Be careful not to lose the screws.
5. Before use, move the blade and handle to check
that the blade does not open and close. After use,
wash the entire knife well and wipe it thoroughly dry.
3. Open it slowly so that the knife is straight. Make sure there
is no one around. Be careful not to get your fingers caught
in the hinge.
6. When storing, reverse the procedure and fold the blade,
paying close attention to the tip of the blade.
※ When putting straps or other items through the strap holes,
make sure they do not interfere with the folded blade.

•Carrying this product without a valid reason may be punishable by law. •Please refrain from using this product for purposes other than those specified. •Before using
the knife for the first time, wash it thoroughly with dishwashing detergent. •Please be sure to use this product with a cutting board. Using it to cut on a stone or metal
surface may cause damage. •Please do not use this product on hard items such as frozen food or bones. Damage may occur. •Do not leave the knife near the fire or
expose it to flames. Heat and flames may cause burns, or damage to the knife. •Strong jolts and impacts such as dropping may cause damage. •Do not bend the knife
in an unreasonable direction or apply strong force to it. Improper bending and force may cause damage. •When opening the blade, be careful and slowly pull out the
blade to avoid injury. Please carefully read the opening / closing instructions for the blade in [Usage]. •Never swing the knife in a downwards motion with the blade out.
The blade will return to the inside and may cut your fingers or hands. •Always store the blade in the handle for safety when not in use or when carrying it.
Do not place the knife in the dishwasher or dryer. •Keep the knife out of the reach of small children.

•For repairs, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or Snow Peak Customer Service.•When you ask for repair, please make sure that the product
is dry and clean.•Please attach a memo or some kind of tag indicating the needed repair, and please write details of when and how the damage occurred.•Shipping cost
and repair fee for the repair as follows. 1. Within warranty: Return shipping cost and repair fee will be covered by Snow Peak. 2. Outside warranty: Return shipping cost
and repair fee will be covered by the user.
