control levers should be considered as being for
EMERGENCY USE ONLY.

Platform / Ground selector switch
1. Emergency Bleed Down: Located at the
rear of the column (see Figure 7.11) this
valve provides facility to lower the platform in
the event of a control failure or other
emergency. Turn the valve counter clockwise
to open it and lower the platform to the
ground.
The UPPER boom will begin to lower
immediately (see the 'Emergency Operation'
chapter for details on emergency lowering
procedures).
