DEVICE ALERTS / GPS ISSUES
•
No Over-Speed Alerts
- In the settings go onto
Set Up
and then
Vehicle Type
Set
Overspeed Limit
which notifies you when you go over the speed limit of the road.
•
Inaccurate Road Speed Warnings
–
Please update your device with latest software.
Alternatively, perform the
GPS Reset
operation shown below.

Inaccurate Speed Limits
–
This is caused by the GPS Signal strength.
Please perform a
GPS Reset
described below:
Use
Configure Menu
- Select
GPS Status
- Use
Reset Button
(bottom right).
Allow device to pick up signals in an open area for a couple of minutes
This may resolve these issues and show if GPS is the issue or not.

Signal Location Issues
- If the
GPS Reset
process
above does not work
Might be down to location / lack of signal strength for the device in this area.
Please test GPS Reset in a different location to give an idea if this is the case.

Recording Issues

For
recording issues, please format the SD Card.
•
SD Card Compatibility
- Please ensure you are using the correct Snooper SD Card.
•
SD Card Usage
- Please be careful when inserting the SD Card so not to damage the device.
Please do not remove the SD Card whilst the device is in operation.
DEVICE & CHARGER ISSUES

Device Registration Issues
- Please see our YouTube Videos on registering your device.
Check you are viewing the most up to date version of the Website.

Device Volume Issues
–
If you experience issues with the devices sound, please use the
Volume Control Menu
in the Settings. There is
Test Button
to test the devices sound.
If there are still issues it might be a speaker issue, so please return the device for repair.

Charger Port Issues
–
If your devices charger port becomes damaged so you can’t insert your
charger cable, please return to us for repair.
•
Device
Won’t
Boot
- Please ensure device is fully charged or connected to a power supply.
•
Device Glitching in Use
- Please ensure device is fully charged and connected to a power
supply. Please update the Speeds Limits of the unit
•
Device Not Charging
–
Test both In-Vehicle and USB Cable to charge the device.
Identify if i
t’s the
cable or device causing the fault
, if it’s the cable then replace
If your device is faulty, please return your device to Snooper to test and therefore resolve.
