Configuring Net Cinema on Network 

This chapter provides you an in depth overview of connecting your SnaZio* Net Cinema on your 
network and playing back files from a remote location.  

Getting to know about your Network Environment 

SnaZio* Net Cinema can be used in different network environments including Static (No DHCP), 
Dynamic (DHCP) and Direct to PC connection.  However the pre-requisites remain same 
independent of any specific network environment.  

Pre-Requisites 

 

 

 

Snazzi* Net Cinema software installed on the Mac side 

 

An available socket in your hub/switch if you intend to connect the Net Cinema in your 
Local Area Network (Home, Office) 

 

A static IP address and a default gateway address for your PC and SnaZio* NET DVD 
Cinema if the DHCP server is not available 

 

In case if there is no DHCP, the assigned IP address of Net Cinema and your PC must be 
unique but within the same network Class specifications 

 

DNS server IP address from your ISP if you want to surf the web via the SnaZio* NET 
Cinema
