Slip cable loop into throat of winch hook clevis.  
Then insert clevis pin into one side of hook clevis, 
through cable loop, and through other side of clevis.  
Insert cotter pin through hole in end of clevis pin, 
bending at least one leg back over clevis pin to 
secure in place.  See Figure 1.10.

Replace ignition key and turn ignition switch to 
‘RUN’.  Pushing winch switch up, pull in winch 
cable until winch hook butts against cable guide 
rollers.  See Figure 1.8 & 1.10. 

 

WARNING 

The winch switch on the utility vehicle does not 
automatically cut out when cable is fully retracted.  To 
avoid damage to winch and/or vehicle, inspect cable 
regularly while retracting.

Turn ignition switch to ‘STOP’.

THIS INSTRUCTION.

Safe operation of machine limits total occupants to
