The Operating Manuals (engine and equipment) and decals on the equipment contain safety

information to make you aware of the hazards and risks associated with mowers and how to

avoid them. This product and its approved attachments/accessories are designed and intended

only for lawn work or snow removal and are not intended for any other purpose. It is important

that you read and understand these instructions thoroughly before attempting to start or operate

this equipment.

the correct pressures for optimum traction and best cut.

Engine is shipped with oil, however, oil should be checked

prior to use.  See illustration below. Park tractor on a level surface.

Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds -

CHARGING THE BATTERY

1.

  Remove the ignition key.   

2.

  Always attach the POSITIVE (

) charger clamp to the (

) terminal of the

 battery 

fi

 rst.

3.

  Attach the NEGATIVE (

ـ

) charger clamp to the (

ـ

) terminal of the

 battery 

last.

4.

  Charge battery according to the instructions provided by the charger

 

manufacturer. Do not charge at a rate higher than 10 amps.

5.

  When charging is complete, connect the NEGATIVE (

ـ

) battery cables.

6.

  Coat the cable ends and the battery terminals with Briggs & Stratton

 

Battery Terminal Protector (Part Number 100068) or equivalent.
