ENGAGE THE DOGS
After inserting the speaker into the wall or ceiling opening, turn the
screw for each of the dogs one quarter turn clockwise to engage the
spring mechanism.
The speaker is now held in place, freeing up your hands so that you may
continue to tighten the dogs safely.
TIGHTEN THE DOGS
Continue to tighten the dogs until you feel resistance, but do not over-
tighten. If using a drill, use a low-torque setting.
CONNECT
Strip the insulation on each conductor approximately ¼” and insert into
the speaker terminals. Ensure that there are no stray strands of wire
protruding from the connectors.
Observe proper polarity (+ to + and – to – for each speaker and at the
amplifier).
