A unique feature of the EMC1428 devices is the ability to select the Hardware System shutdown
temperature based on the resistor attached to the TRIP_SET pin and the tri-state setting of the
SHDN_SEL pin. The EVB allows the user to quickly evaluate each of the many temperature values by
adjusting R50. JP12 can be moved to 3 different states which define the powerup state of beta
compensation and REC. Please see the data sheet for detailed operation of these features.
