1. Fill the medication cassette reservior and remove all air
from the medication cassette reservoir according to the
Instructions for Use supplied with the product.
2. Close the tubing clamp.
3. Using aseptic technique, connect the medication
cassette reservoir luer to the luer lock (blue cap)
of the extension set.
NOTE: Connect the medication cassette reservoir luer
to the luer lock of the extension set. If the anti-siphon
valve end of the extension set is connected to the
medication cassette luer, a high pressure alarm will
sound when you try to start the pump.
Step 1- Connect the Extension Set
WARNING: Leave the blue clip on the cassette in place
until ready to attach the cassette to the pump. Storing
the cassette with the blue clip removed may affect
delivery accuracy.
Step 2- Prime the Tubing
1. Remove the blue clip from the cassette.
