1. Introduction

1.1 Principle

Setting a triangular prism vortex generator in the flow meter, regular vortex will

be generated at both the sides of triangular prism, which is called Karman swirl.

As showed on the drawing 1.1, vortex are arranged regularly at the

downstream of vortex generator. Suppose the vortex generation frequency is F,

Digital Vortex flow meters are thoroughly tested at the factory

before shipment.

When these instruments are delivered, perform a visual check to make sure

that no damage occured during shipment.

Transportation and Storage Precautions

If the instrument is to be stored for a long period of time after delivery, please

follow below points.

The instrument should be stored in original packing.

The instrument need to be stored in the place where will not be exposed to

rain or water.
Temperature: -40 to +60

Humidity: 5 to 100% RH
