Precautions when using the teppan yaki plate
The hob is not designed for cooking foodstuffs in pans or other cookware.
Despite the steel cooking surface being very tough and smooth, traces of wear
may appear over time and with normal use. This will not however affect the
performance of the plate. Slight yellowing of the steel surface is entirely normal.
Do not use knives to cut food on the cooking surface to avoid scratching it. Do
not use sharp cutlery to turn the food. These precautions help prevent scratches
or dents appearing on the teppan yaki plate.
