www.smc.com

SMC’s SMC6624M is a new generation of high perform-
ance switch that has a non-blocking switch fabric of
9.6Gbps. With 24 fixed auto-MDIX 10/100 ports and two
slots in the front panel for optional modules, it can be
expanded up to 26 ports per switch, with a mix and
match of 100BASE-FX or 1000BASE-X modules. The
TigerSwitch 10/100 can be stacked up to 16 units high
with the stacking kit, so that up to 386 ports can be
managed under single IP address. The TigerStack II
comes with features, including port or protocol based
and tagged VLANs, plus support for automatic GVRP
VLAN registration provides traffic security and efficient
use of network bandwidth. QoS priority queuing ensures

the minimum delay for real-time multimedia data across
the network. IGMP and IGMP snooping is also onboard to
prevent flooding of IP multicast traffic, with LACP to
facilitate linking aggregation.  Port security is also
included, which  keeps the network tamper free from
unauthorized users, and RMON traps to alert the
presence of intruders in system.

The TigerStack II is further backed by a comprehensive
limited lifetime warranty and SMC’s free 24/7 technical
support. With powerful switching performance and
advance network management features, the SMC6624M
is the ideal solution for today’s networking needs.
