Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
The Barricade was implemented with the ease-of-use Wi-Fi Protected
Setup (WPS). WPS makes a secure wireless network much easier to achieve
by using an eight-digit PIN number and the Push Button Control (PBC).
Check
Enable
and click
Apply Changes
.
Pressing
Generate New PIN
creates a new Current PIN number.
Pressing
Restore Default PIN
sets the PIN code to the factory default
number.
Note:
If you are using WEP encryption on the SMC Barricade and
Windows Zero Configuration (WZC) service to configure the
wireless settings on your PC you may experience problems
connecting to the SMC Barricade. Refer to the “Troubleshooting”
section for further details.
