Manual Entry – “ Manual Entry ” allows you to manually enter key
elements (two hexadecimal digits in each block.)
Default Key ID – Choose the Key ID that has the encryption
string you prefer. If you are using a key generated from the
passphrase, you must use the same passphrase and key on each
station.
To use the WEP function, take the following steps:
1. Select “ 128-bit ” or “ 64-bit ” in the “ Encryption ” field.
2. Choose “ Create with Passphrase, ” type a string in the
Passphrase field, and click “ Generate. ”
3. Select the key, and click “ Apply. ”
Note: A passphrase string can consist of up to 32
alphanumeric characters.
