• It is positioned in such a way that a potential intruder crosses the entire detection range.
• It is preferably positioned in front of an entrance.
• Whichever room the device is designated, make sure it fits within the range of the motion sensor (see diagram
below). If installing on the ceiling it is always good to take measurements within a radius of 3 x 3 x 6 meters.
If installing in a corner where the wall meets the ceiling it is always good to take measurements within a radius
of 2.5 x 3.5 x 3 meters.
The device is not mounted on or near metal structures or metal objects. These could weaken the Z-Wave
signal.
