•   The appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects fi lled 

with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the appliance.

•   The appliance shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing 

connection.

•  Only use the appliance if supervised (very dry bread may catch fi re if toasted).
•  Do not insert any forks, knives or such like in the toasting slot. 
•   Do not place the appliance anywhere near infl ammable objects (e.g. curtains, wood, 

etc.)! 

•   The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible 

material, such as curtains or kitchen cupboards. 

•   Keep minimum distances 20 cm around the apparatus for suffi  cient ventilation. Also, the 

ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such 

as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
