The RK8-HLX-500 is the perfect solution for extending

HDMI signals to a remote location up to 500 feet away. It

is the ideal way to consolidate up to eight HDMI signal

sources in central one location.

The RK8-HLX-500 is rack-mountable, meaning it can fit into

mounting shelves without the need for additional mounting

equipment. It is capable of sending 1080p

(1920x1080 @ 60Hz) Full HD HDMI signals to end-point

displays in a variety of ranges and applications. One

unit can extend to up to eight displays easily without the

additional expense & power-costs of multiple extenders

systems, making it the best choice for boosting the range of

multiple HDMI source devices.

GigaSwitch

1.  Power off the HDMI source and display.

2.  Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI source to the HDMI IN port of the RK8-HLX-500 transmitter.

3.  Connect the RK8-HLX-500 transmitter to the HLX-RX500 receiver using a CAT5e/6 cable (up to 150ft).

4.  Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the HLX-RX500 receiver to the HDMI display

5.  Connect the power on the RK8-HLX-500 transmitter plugging in their power adapters (12VDC2A) or provide 12VDC input

from the rear DC input port.

NOTE

: If the RX side has connected DC adapter, TX can get the DC power over the CAT5e/CAT6 cable, so leave DC input

port empty. Only 1 power supply is required for both units. (In certain cases, if the receiver has too much drop off power,

we recommend to connect a 12V DC power supply to each receiver

6.  Power on the HDMI source, displays and speakers. The RX will read the EDID from the monitor, and then pass the data

into the TX automatically.

INTALLATION NOTE

: Do not stack receiver units. Stacking inhibits heat distribution.
