This product is in compliance with the directive and it was designed and manufactured in
accordance with sound engineering practice using several standards from ANSI, ASTM, DIN and
JIS.
EMC Directive (2004/108/EC) - Eletromagnetic Compatibility
The EMC test was performed according to IEC standard: IEC61326-1:2006, IEC61326-2-3:2006,
IEC61000-6-4:2006, IEC61000-6-2:2005. For use in environment only.
Keep the shield insulated at the instrument side, connecting the other one to the ground if necessary
to use shielded cable.
ATEX Directive (94/9/EC)
– Equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres.
This product was certified according European Standards at NEMKO and EXAM (old DMT). The
certified body for manufacturing quality assessment is EXAM (number 0158).
LVD Directive 2006/95/EC
– Electrical Equipment designed for use within certain voltage
limits
According the LVD directive Annex II the equipment under ATEX “Electrical equipment for use in an
explosive atmosphere” directive are excluded from scope from this directive.
