*If the handset indicator lights up, but the bed does not operate, try changing the position of the channel switch on the end of the
remote. This should only be an issue the first time you use your bed.
** The handset requires 3 “AAA” Batteries. Replace the batteries whenever the bed responds in an unusual manner.
The SleepSafe Articulated Remote operates using a cordless RF
(Radio Frequency) handset (shown above). This means the handset does
not need to be pointed at the bed to operate. This is a convenient feature, but be aware:
The handset can operate the bed from another room, out of sight of the patient in the bed.
Please keep handset in a secure location!
