Reinstalling or Replacing a Terminal
When removing or replacing a terminal, in most cases the bracket(s) should be left
installed on the asset.
To Replace a Terminal
1.
Hold the magnet fob centered on the target (Figure 34) for a minimum of 10 seconds
to turn off the terminal.
2.
Remove the terminal by unscrewing the six hex nuts and washers from the bracket
and keep them in a safe place for future use.
3.
Install a new terminal on the brackets.
4.
Secure the terminal using the washers and hex nuts you removed earlier.
5.
Torque the hex nuts to
1.4 N-m (12 in-lb)
.
Terminals automatically power on when batteries are installed. If necessary, to check that
the terminal has been properly powered on, hold the activation magnet fob centered on
the target for 3 seconds and then remove. The LED emits a few short flashes. Refer to
[T204] for LED operation information and flash rates.
