The final polish is the official certification. Our obligation was to create five sizes in LTF
class 1-2, in trim speed and accelerated: These classifications depend on the ability of
the pilot of that category. The many certification tests are the last hurdle in the devel-
opment of a skywalk paraglider. The certifying test flights will only take place when the
test-team is completely happy with the glider in question.
We remark that the certification results will differ during flight in thermic or turbulent
air. The certification solely informs about a paragliders performance in provoked ex-
treme flight manoeuvers during stable air conditions. These provoked extreme-flight-
manoeuvers during the certification process should thus in a complex interrelationship
with other factors not be overrated.
