Access to IP Camera over the Internet
Enter WAN IP a port number in IE, eg Http://116.25.51.115: 85
Note: make sure that the "Port mapping" is correct. This mapping can be done in 2 ways:

Go to the Setup page of the router that is connected to the ipcamera UPNP mode. Ipcamera "Upnp Settings" give in and
make sure the status is "Upnp success".

If your router has the Virtual Folder function. Go to the Setup page of the router, add ipcamera's IP and port to the Virtual
Folder list.
3.6 How to use DDNS
When using ADSL, the IP Camera automatically connected to the Internet via ADSL. For each ADSL reconnection, will
ISP again assign a new IP address for the IP camera to facilitate access. DDNS (Dynamic Domain
Name Server) can the dynamic IP address of an IP camera to a fixed domain name. Therefore, we can open the IP camera
via the fixed domain name or IP address changes or not. The IP address is not required if you are using DDNS via the domain
name to find your network.
1) Go to the website that provides a "free" domain name, register and apply a free domain name, such as
http://www.dyndns.com/
2) Login on the Camera homepage as Administrator go to the "DDNS Service Settings" page, specify the name, password and
Host (details: 2.5.3) in. Click <SUBMIT> and restart the unit.
3) Re-login on the Camera homepage and go to "DDNS Service Settings" page to the DDNS Status check or DynDns
Succeed (successful or not).
4) Go to the "Settings" page, the UPnP UPnPStatus UPnP should be "Succeed". If the status is "Not Succeed", go to the
"Basic Network Settings" page to change the Http port (details: 2.5.2). Click <SUBMIT> and restart the unit.
5) Re-login the Camera homepage to check the DDNS Status and UPnP Status is "Succeed".
6)Domain name (domain name
http://ipcam.kicks-ass.net:81/
+ port number) entering in the IE address bar, the browser goes
to the IP Camera.
Wait some minutes and the IP Camera will automatically dial in to the Internet, and the connection to the DDNS server is
successfully achieved. The user can access the IP Camera over a WAN by using the DDNS domain name.
If the gateway settings and DDNS settings have been completed, please complete the "DDNS dynamic domain name"
(e.g.,
http://ipcam.vicp.net/
in (fill in no www.) in the address bar of IE to access the IP Camera.
