HELPFUL TIPS
• Turn on your SkyCaddie LX5 outdoors, with a clear view of the sky,
to receive satellite signals. Give it an initial five minutes before play to
download the latest satellite data used to improve accuracy. The higher
the strength on the GPS Signal Indicator, the higher the accuracy.
• To maintain optimal accuracy during play, make sure your SkyCaddie
LX5 is always on and has a clear view of the sky. Do not put the
SkyCaddie LX5 in your pocket or turn it on and off during play.
• Don’t expose the SkyCaddie LX5 to extreme temperatures or water.
Storing your SkyCaddie in areas that may allow the battery to freeze
may result in diminished run time or failure.
• When cleaning and wiping the display use only a cloth intended for
cleaning optics. Do not wipe with a towel or paper napkins.
• Fully charge the battery before each round.
• Never disconnect or turn off your SkyCaddie LX5 while it is syncing.
Wait until it is finished communicating before you disconnect it, power it
off, or power off your computer.
