Getting version information when the Appliance Administration is 

not available 

If you need to know the version of the Appliance (the image version) and other 

information about the Appliance when the Appliance Administration is not 

available, run the 

get_appliance_details

 script from the CLI.

If there is a hardware issue on the Appliance (usually indicated by the system 

status LED turning amber or blinking):

 as the root user. 

The diagnostic log file, 

diagnostic_<timestamp>.log

, is in the 

<Skybox_Home>/server/log

 directory. 

2

 

Open a support case and attach the (most recent) diagnostic file.
