Preflight checks
Rescue deployment
We recommend to check before every flight:
- that parachute container is closed correctly and is in good condition.
- that deployment handle is secured correctly.
We recommend to periodically feel, where deployment handle is placed in
flight.
If you need to open the rescue in flight:
- look at the rescue handle and grasp it by hand;
- pull the handle to open the container and to release the inner container
- throw and release the rescue quickly and forcefully away from yourself
and the glider. It’s better to throw the rescue against the direction of spin
to avoid tangling it with the glider.
- after opening control the paraglider or pull it in by B, C, D rows or brakes.
Maintenance and care
Take care about your rescue parachute. You should avoid sun exposure,
heat and humidity.
Store all your equipment in a cool, dry place.
If your parachute has got wet, you should open it, dry and repack.
Dirty parachute or container must be cleaned with clean water without any
solvents or detergents.
If damaged, your parachute must be repaired by manufacturer, or dealer.
