3.13.2 Flat roofing sheet in a corrugated steel plate construction, side
The roof duct requires a minimum of 832 mm space be-
tween the rafters.
Drill through the roofing sheet at the bottom of the lath
the flat roofing sheet is to be mounted on.
Measure and make a mark at 1070 mm from the drilled
hole.
Measure the width of the flat roofing sheet.
Make sure that the sides of the flat roofing sheet fit the
bottom of a crest of corrugation.
Mark the crest of corrugation on the side so there is an
edge of approx. 5 mm.
Make oblique marking at the top so the flat roofing sheet
can be slid underneath the corrugated steel plate.
Saw the hole using power shears or a jigsaw.
Cut an angle in the outer crests of corrugation at the bot-
tom.
Place an auxiliary lath on the sides, at the top and at the
bottom, if required.
Saw off a slanted piece measuring 50 x 140 mm at the
top of the flat roofing sheet.
