3.4 Position of motor controller
Motor controller must not be built-in or covered and
must be mounted on a solid, level surface.
In order to uphold protection classifications, access and
cooling, the motor controller must be positioned as
shown in section

In order to ensure access of cables and cooling of the
motor controller, the distances to the surroundings must
be met.
Distance to top and bottom = 200 mm
Distance to both sides = 10 mm
3.6 Position of motor controller
The motor controller is positioned so that the ambient
temperature is between ÷ 20°C and + 40°C and pro-
tected against direct sunlight.
Temperature, operating ÷ 20 °C to + 40.
Start temperature ÷ 15 °C to + 40.
Mount the motor controller as close to the fan as possi-
ble.
The 2 m cable included must not be extended.
However, a motor cable of 5 m can be ordered if the 2 m
is not sufficient.
The controller can be mounted on a wooden plate fas-
tened to a rafter on the ceiling or directly on the chimney.
